I have been reading banned books recently because I live in Texas, number one in the country for the most banned titles, nearly all of which are YA titles. I am excited to connect with Dr. Harris on a professional level and am excited about this project!
Phyllis! Thank you for this bracing reminder and for diving into it all. So maddening that most of the banned are YA. The age(s) when we most need really good stories of depth--from multiple perspectives-- to help us think for ourselves. Texas better be grateful to have you. 💜 Also, can you post a couple recommendations for great titles for us to read or reread?
